Westside Theatre: shows & tickets

Check the auditorium, not only the building

A ramp into a lobby does not establish access to the performance. The official Westside guidance separates the accessible building entrance from the Upstairs auditorium. Guests who cannot manage the stairs should speak to the venue before booking rather than assuming a ground-floor entrance solves the route.

Allow time for the final walk west from your arrival point and for climbing the stairs at a comfortable pace. Use the full street number when meeting friends. A relaxed arrival matters here because the operator describes a different stair route when late seating is possible.

Check the Upstairs auditorium before booking

For Little Shop of Horrors, the relevant room is Westside Theatre Upstairs. This is the first detail to verify, because a map or access description for another room will not answer the right questions. Once the room is confirmed, compare central positions and side angles on the production’s current chart.

The stairs are a fundamental part of this visit: the operator lists 21 steps to the theater entrance and nine more to the seating area, with further steps between rows. There is no elevator and the Upstairs auditorium is not wheelchair accessible. Resolve suitability for every guest before purchasing seats together.

SEATING ADVICE

Where to sit at Westside Theatre

For the first booking decision

Establish that the stairs are suitable for everyone in the party. A more expensive or more central seat will not change the building’s access limitations.

For viewing preference

Compare closer and more centered options on the production’s current booking map. Read any restriction and consider the stage angle before choosing.

For a sensible budget

Check alternative performances in a similar location. Compare the total for the group rather than a single headline ticket price.

How to book tickets and choose your seats

Choose a show at Westside Theatre above and open its performance calendar. Select the date and time, then use Book Tickets to see the available options. Some shows offer individual seats; others offer a seating section or price band. Review the seating details, total price, and any conditions about sitting together before you book.

Use the seating guide to narrow your search, then read any restricted-view information attached to the actual ticket. For a last-minute booking, confirm the performance time and ticket-delivery instructions while leaving enough time to reach 407 West 43rd Street. Calendar availability can change until your booking is confirmed.

For a wheelchair space, transfer seat, or companion arrangement, confirm the specific location and access route with the venue before purchase. These are different requirements, and an ordinary aisle seat may not meet them.
