From the West End to Broadway
Our story begins with the people behind the platform. tickadoo's founders helped establish London Theatre Direct in 1999 and built a business that went on to sell more than $1 billion in theater tickets. That experience includes the practical work behind a good booking: connecting audiences with productions, presenting seating options, and making ticket information easier to understand.
In 2024, the team launched tickadoo to bring its experience to theater, attractions, and activities around the world. The Broadway Guide is our dedicated New York theater site, combining Broadway and Off-Broadway tickets with original show comparisons, venue information, and planning advice.
The same family as BritishTheatre.com
tickadoo also owns and operates BritishTheatre.com, which covers the West End, Off-West End, and theaters across the United Kingdom. It joined tickadoo in 2026, bringing its theater reporting, reviews, and guides into the same family.
The Broadway Guide brings that combination of theater coverage and ticket booking to New York. Planning a trip to both cities? Use our Broadway guides for New York, then visit BritishTheatre.com for London shows and West End tickets.
What you can find here
Start with our Broadway and Off-Broadway shows to compare productions, running times, and age guidance. If you already have travel dates, our monthly Broadway pages help you find performances for your visit. The live calendar on a show page lets you check dates before continuing to booking.
Our theater and seating guides explain the sections, viewing considerations, and access questions to check before you buy. Some productions offer individual-seat selection; others offer a seating section or price band. The booking step shows the options available for your performance and the details of your selection.
Our Broadway blog and show comparisons help with decisions that a poster alone cannot answer: which show suits your group, how to plan two shows in a day, and what to consider when buying tickets together. Our visitor guides connect those choices with the practicalities of a New York trip.
Clear information before you book
We distinguish production facts, audience ratings, planning advice, and critical reviews. Official show and venue sources inform our guides, while prices and availability come from the booking service. Dates, schedules, and ticket options can change, so the live details for your selected performance matter.
Our editorial standards explain how we approach research, reviews, and corrections. For help with an existing order, use the support details in your confirmation or contact tickadoo.
