Majestic Theatre: shows & tickets

Plan your visit

For a return visit, treat the present production as a fresh seating decision. A familiar building can house a different stage picture, so an old favorite position may need reassessing. Match any advice you read to the show, configuration, and restriction notices now attached to the ticket.

Plan your arrival around the exact performance time and allow a margin for meeting friends and finding the correct section. On a block with several theater entrances, send the full name and street number to your group rather than relying on a general Broadway meeting instruction.

The row matters in the Majestic Orchestra

At the Majestic, the Orchestra label is only the start of the access decision. Rows AA through H and designated wheelchair locations are step-free, while steps begin at row I. A row change within the same section can therefore alter the route even when the ticket prices look similar.

The Front and Rear Mezzanine offer elevated alternatives, but reaching the level involves 51 steps before the steps between rows. Compare these locations only if that route suits your party. For a new production, check the current staging map and any view restrictions instead of relying on a seat remembered from an earlier visit.

SEATING ADVICE

Where to sit at Majestic Theatre

For limited mobility

Check the exact Orchestra row and designated accessible locations. Do not assume that all Orchestra tickets avoid stairs.

For stage perspective

Compare a centered Orchestra position with Front Mezzanine options if stairs work for you. Decide whether distance or elevation better matches your preference.

For controlling cost

Include Rear Mezzanine offers and alternative dates, then compare restrictions and the full party total.

How to book tickets and choose your seats

Choose a show at Majestic Theatre above and open its performance calendar. Select the date and time, then use Book Tickets to see the available options. Some shows offer individual seats; others offer a seating section or price band. Review the seating details, total price, and any conditions about sitting together before you book.

Use the seating guide to narrow your search, then read any restricted-view information attached to the actual ticket. For a last-minute booking, confirm the performance time and ticket-delivery instructions while leaving enough time to reach 245 West 44th Street. Calendar availability can change until your booking is confirmed.

For a wheelchair space, transfer seat, or companion arrangement, confirm the specific location and access route with the venue before purchase. These are different requirements, and an ordinary aisle seat may not meet them.

Accessibility and getting there

The operator identifies Orchestra rows AA through H and designated wheelchair locations as step-free; steps begin at row I. Mezzanine access requires 51 steps plus steps between rows. There is no elevator or escalator. A wheelchair-accessible restroom is listed.
