Casting is complete for the Broadway transfer of Suzie Miller’s Inter Alia, starring Rosamund Pike in her Broadway debut. The production announced its full company on October 28, adding six ensemble members and three standbys to the previously announced leads. Previews begin November 10 at the Music Box Theatre, ahead of an official opening on December 1, and the production is scheduled to run through February 21, 2027, according to its official website.
Pike plays Jessica Parks, with Jamie Glover as Michael Wheatley and Cormac McAlinden as Harry Wheatley. Pike, Glover, McAlinden and director Justin Martin recently met the press, in photos by Bruce Glikas published by BroadwayWorld on October 27.
Who joins the company on Broadway?
The ensemble features Reece Boyle, Charlemagne Fadner, Olive Ross-Kline, Ever Brave Savage, Greta Schaefer and Corinne Sweeney. Five of the six are making their Broadway debuts, according to the company biographies.
Suzy Jane Hunt is the standby for Jessica, Christian Conn for Michael and Alex Serino for Harry. Hunt’s Broadway credits include Leopoldstadt, How I Learned to Drive and Dear Evan Hansen. Conn has appeared on Broadway in Desire Under the Elms, and Serino played Albus Potter in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
Who are the leading actors?
Pike won the 2026 Olivier Award and the 2026 Critics’ Circle Theatre Award for Best Actress for her performance as Jessica Parks. Glover and McAlinden reprise their roles from the London production and will also make their Broadway debuts, Broadway News reports.
Glover’s stage credits include the title role in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in the West End, Noises Off and The Chalk Garden, and he is known on television for Waterloo Road, Agatha Raisin, Shakespeare & Hathaway and Midsomer Murders. McAlinden was nominated for Best West End Debut Performer at this year’s The Stage Debut Awards for Inter Alia. His stage credits include Little Brother, and his upcoming screen work includes Red White & Royal Wedding and the series Kennedy.
What is the play about?
Inter Alia, Latin for “among other things,” follows Jessica Parks, a maverick London Crown Court judge who is determined to change a system she knows isn’t always just. The play examines the balance of motherhood and modern masculinity, and of career and family, as an unthinkable event tests her finely tuned life.
Where did the production begin?
The play reunites Miller and Martin, the writer and director behind Prima Facie, which also transferred from London to Broadway, Playbill notes. Inter Alia premiered at the National Theatre in London in 2025 and transferred to Wyndham’s Theatre in the West End, where it played from March to June 2026. It has also been broadcast in cinemas through National Theatre Live and streamed on National Theatre at Home, and about 600,000 people have now seen the production worldwide.
Who is on the creative team?
The creative team from London returns, including set and costume designer Miriam Buether, lighting designer Natasha Chivers, sound designers Ben and Max Ringham, video designer Willie Williams for Treatment Studios, composers Erin LeCount and James Jacob (known as Jakwob), movement and intimacy director Lucy Hind and music supervisor Nick Pinchbeck. Casting is by Alastair Coomer and Naomi Downham in the U.K. and Jim Carnahan in the U.S.
The National Theatre is producing on Broadway with No Guarantees Productions and P3 Productions, among others. The National Theatre will also mark its return to Broadway with a fundraising gala on December 8, co-hosted by Indhu Rubasingham, Kate Varah and Anna Wintour.
